At Koto Blades, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our blades. Because many of our items are hand-forged and made-to-order, our shipping process reflects the time and care required to ensure professional quality.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms set forth below.
1. Processing & Production Times
Please note that many of our products are not kept in stock and are forged specifically for you upon order.
- Standard Items: Processed within 5–7 business days.

Made-to-Order & Hand-Forged Sets: These items require artisan craftsmanship. Processing can take up to 21 business days.
- Note: Once production begins, these orders cannot be canceled.
- Note: Custom/Hand-forged items are not eligible for return or refund.
2. Estimated Delivery Times
Shipping times apply after the production/processing period listed above.

3. Shipping Options & Costs
United States
- Standard Shipping: $9.99
- Free Standard Shipping on orders over $500
- Expedited Shipping: +$29.99
International
- Standard Shipping: $9.99
- Express Shipping: $39.99
4. Customs & Import Duties
International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import taxes. These fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Failure to pay customs fees will result in:
- A deduction of $80 (to cover two-way shipping).
- A 20% restocking fee from the order value.
5. A+ Shipping Protection
We provide coverage for lost, stolen, or damaged shipments:
- Lost Orders: Claims must be filed within 10 days (U.S.) or 20 days (Intl.) if no delivery is confirmed after the expected window.
- Stolen/Misdelivered: If marked delivered but not received, please wait 3 business days for carrier updates before filing a claim.
- Damaged Orders: Photo evidence of the item and packaging must be submitted within 5 days (U.S.) or 7 days (Intl.) of receipt.
6. Important Notes
- Accurate Address: We are not responsible for incorrect addresses. Orders returned will incur a resend fee.
- Military Bases (APO/FPO): Customers must ensure compliance with local knife regulations. Abandoned packages are non-refundable.
- Refused Shipments: Refused or abandoned shipments are not eligible for refunds.
